Vz Perfection by Vaishali · Award-Winning Bridal Designer · Finchampstead, Berkshire
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the supply of bespoke, made-to-measure, bridal, alteration and special occasion wear services (the “Services”) by Vz Perfection by Vaishali (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the person named on the accompanying invoice or estimate (“you”, “your”, the “Client”). By paying a deposit, signing an estimate, or otherwise instructing us to proceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
“Bespoke Item” means any garment or item cut, constructed, or altered specifically to your individual measurements, design brief and specification, including Made to Measure Bridalwear, Mother of the Bride/Groom outfits, and Special Occasion Wear.
“Deposit” means the advance payment described at clause 4.
“Estimate” means our indicative, non-binding price provided before work commences.
“Order” means the agreement between you and us for the supply of the Services, as confirmed by our invoice.
Quotations and Estimates
2.1 Prices quoted or estimated are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
2.2 An Estimate reflects the information, design brief and measurements available to us at the time. It is not a fixed price, and the final price payable may vary in accordance with clause 8 (Additional or Variation Work).
Formation of Contract
3.1 A binding contract is formed between you and us on the earlier of: (a) our written acceptance of your Order; or (b) our receipt of your Deposit in cleared funds.
Deposit and Payments
4.1 A deposit of 70% of the total quoted price (the “Deposit”) is payable on receipt of our invoice.
4.2 We will not commence cutting fabric, sourcing bespoke materials, or otherwise commence work on your Order until the Deposit has been received by us in cleared funds.
4.3 The remaining balance of the price (30%), together with any additional charges properly due under these Terms, is payable in full on or before collection or delivery of the completed Item(s). We reserve the right to withhold delivery or collection until payment in full has been received in cleared funds.
4.4 Time for payment is of the essence. We reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue sum at 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from time to time, accruing daily from the due date until payment is received in full, both before and after any judgment.
4.5 Title to any fabric, trims and materials purchased on your behalf, and to the completed Item(s), does not pass to you until we have received payment in full of all sums due under the Order.
4.6 We accept payment by [bank transfer / card / cash – delete or amend as applicable]. Bank details are shown on the invoice.
Cancellation
5.1 You may cancel your Order free of charge within 48 hours of paying the Deposit by notifying us in writing (including by email to info@vzperfection.co.uk). Where you cancel within the contractual cancelling period and before we have commenced work, your Deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days.
5.2 Once the Contractual has ended, or once we have commenced cutting, sourcing bespoke materials, or making up your Item(s) (whichever happens first), your Order cannot be cancelled and the Deposit becomes non-refundable, reflecting the bespoke materials, design time and studio time already committed to your Order.
5.3 This clause does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty, not of satisfactory quality, or not-as-described goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Bespoke Items — No Right to Return, Exchange or Refund
6.1 All Items produced under an Order are made bespoke to your individual specification, measurements and design choices. They are not stock items and cannot be resold.
6.2 Accordingly, in line with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory right to cancel that would otherwise apply to distance or off-premises contracts does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. No refund, exchange, or return will be accepted for a completed or in-progress Bespoke Item once work has commenced, save where the Item is faulty, not of satisfactory quality, or not as described, in which case your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full.
6.3 This clause does not limit or exclude any right you may have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Fittings and Alterations
7.1 The quoted price for Made to Measure and Bridalwear (including Bridalwear alterations) includes up to three (3) fitting appointments. The quoted price for regular/standard alterations includes up to one (1) fitting appointment.
7.2 Where further fittings are required beyond this allowance — whether due to changes you request or changes in your measurements — an additional charge of 10% of the total quoted price will apply and will be invoiced before the further fitting(s) take place.
7.3 You are responsible for attending fittings at the agreed time and for telling us promptly about any change in your measurements between placing your Order and delivery.
Additional or Variation of Work
8.1 Any work you request that falls outside the original agreed specification (including design changes, added embellishment, or extra garments) is treated as a variation to the Order.
8.2 We will provide a separate estimate for the variation before carrying it out. On your acceptance, we will issue an additional invoice, payable in accordance with clause 4.
Delivery or Collection
9.1 Estimated completion and delivery dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Time is not of the essence for delivery unless we have expressly agreed a fixed date with you in writing (for example, to meet a wedding or event date).
9.2 Risk in the Item(s) passes to you on collection or delivery.

9.2 Risk in the Item(s) passes to you on collection or delivery.
Uncollected Items
10.1 If you do not collect a completed Item within 30 days of being notified that it is ready, we may charge a reasonable storage fee for each additional week. If an Item remains uncollected more than 90 days after notification, and after we have made reasonable attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to dispose of or sell the Item to recover sums owed, to the extent permitted by law.
Measurements, Fabrics and Natural Variation
11.1 Bespoke Items are cut to the measurements taken and confirmed at your consultation and fittings. We are not responsible for fit issues arising from a change in your measurements after the final fitting.
11.2 Natural and hand-worked materials — including lace, embroidery, beading and fabrics with natural fibres — may vary slightly in shade, texture or pattern placement between any sample shown and the finished Item. Such variation is a natural characteristic of bespoke work and is not a fault.
Care of Your Garment
12.1 Please follow any care instructions we provide. We are not responsible for damage caused by cleaning, pressing, storage or further alteration carried out by you or a third party after collection or delivery.
Photography and Image Rights
13.1 We may photograph or film Item(s) during design, construction and fitting for quality control, our portfolio, and marketing.
13.2 Where you appear in an image, your face and other identifying features will be concealed or cropped out.
13.3 All rights, title and interest (including copyright) in such images belong to, and remain vested in, us. We may use these images on our website and social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook and X/Twitter) and in other marketing materials, without further consent from or payment to you.
13.4 If you would prefer images of your Item not to be used, please tell us in writing before your first fitting. We will try to accommodate this, though it may not always be possible once work has started.
13.5 Design sketches, patterns and toiles created by us during the Services remain our intellectual property.
Limitation of Liability
14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
14.2 Subject to clause 14.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with an Order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total price paid by you for that Order.
14.3 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment of an event.
Data Protection
15.1 We process personal data (including measurements and photographs) in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details are available at www.vzperfection.co.uk or on request.
Force Majeure
16.1 We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, supplier delay, fire, flood, or other events of force majeure.
Complaints
17.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of the Services, please contact us in the first instance at info@vzperfection.co.uk or +44 7894 354597 so we can resolve the matter promptly.
General
18.1 These Terms, together with the relevant invoice or Estimate, form the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the Order.
18.2 If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
18.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the date of your invoice applies to that Order.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
19.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
