White has always drained the colour of my face but I quickly realised that finding a non-white / non-cream wedding dress was going to be very challenging. I tried a few white wedding dress and they looked better on me than I thought they would be. I found a wedding dress that I really liked. I looked and fell good in it but it wasn't really reflecting who I was. I've always loved blue / turquoise colours and the dress was white with no colour. However, I thought it could be personnalised to really reflect who I am. I started looking on the internet and I found V.

As soon as I saw V with her partly blue hair I knew she was the right person for the job. She also lived close to where I live and therefore I thought it was meant to be. I had an idea on how I wanted the dress to be personnalised and look. We discussed it and a few pieces in Vz studio caught my attention and inspired me. The design gradually evolved during our discussions. V made sure I was part of the design process all the way and that I was happy with the process. She also did the last alterations a couple of weeks before the wedding as she wanted it to fit perfectly and I kept loosing at the top for some unknown reasons.

The outcome was the wedding dress of my dreams which was unique and reflected who I am. I felt so special that day and for one day I felt like a princess. Everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was and my now husband got very emotional when I walked down the aisle.

I can't thank V, her seamstresses and her team enough for all their had work and for giving me the wedding dress of my dreams.

A big massive thank you from me. I will definitely will be back for occasion clothes that are really me.

My head was firmly in the sand when it came to my wedding dress, until 3 months prior to the wedding, when I contacted V to ask if she could make my wedding dress.
After the initial conversation to find out what I had in mind, the whole dress making process went very smoothly.

I DO NOT do dressing up, you’ll rarely see me in anything but jeans, however, I had to accept they were not appropriate for my daughter’s wedding!!
The idea of a traditional MOB dress filled me with horror! (I even tried a few on - £800+ for something I didn’t even like and felt completely uncomfortable in - no way!)
I’d thought maybe a jumpsuit - couldn’t find anything I liked, I was in despair and then, oh thank goodness I found V..!
The entire process has been a joy, a phone call to start, V assured me that my short timeline was not a problem, we then met at V’s studio and came up with a design, a few fittings, and then, a week earlier than expected, I came home with an outfit that I could not be happier with, I feel so comfortable, confident and elegant (never thought I’d say that!) in my outfit, I am actually excited to get dressed up for my daughters wedding!!
V is clearly incredibly talented at her craft, but perhaps even more importantly for me - she ‘got me’!

Incredible make over of my Grandmother's 1950s wedding dress.

I found V when looking for someone to restyle my Grandmother's wedding dress for me. What I got was an incredible companion through the bridal process.

V handled my nearly 70 year old dress beautifully, keeping the essence of the original whilst making the final product true to me. She took on my ideas whilst giving excellent advice on how to implement them, and did lots of little extra things, such as trimming my bridal denim jacket to suit the dress, that made the whole wedding planning process that much smoother.

I can't recommend V enough. My Mum is so happy that her Mum's dress was so well handled, physically and emotionally. The final product was beautiful.

Having tried on loads of dresses at several bridal shops, I just couldn't find THE dress, I din't want white or ivory which was the only option on the high street. Having used V prefiously, I thought I'd have a chat to see if she could help... we came up with a design, chose the fabric and I ended up with the perfect dress. Incredible creative process!

Amazing designer who takes into consideration every aspect of your personality and makes your vision a reality! Filled with plenty of laughs and last minute alterations!

From the moment I contacted V I knew I was in good hands. I found my dress in the first shop I went into. It was a stunning dress, but at 54 and getting married at the beginning of April the tiny straps and very low back just didn’t feel like they were working perfectly. The dress was also a couple of sizes too big and I had to buy off the peg due to timing.
V guided me through what would look best on me and for the style of the dress and she added 3/4 length sleeves (my favourite length), added beautiful panels to the back and used the lace that was spare after taking it up an in to make the new parts of the dress look like they were meant to be there.
We also decided that an extra layer would look good on the back to make it slightly less see through but also still keeping the sexy wow factor.
V has a super team behind her and my dress was expertly transformed into my dream dress that fitted me perfectly.
What was really lovely for me is that V really listened to what I was envisaging for the dress and made it a reality while allowing me to see what different styles would look like.
I actually cannot count the number of people who have said my dress was stunning on me. But most importantly I felt stunning, beautiful and just the right amount of sexy for the occasion and the setting.

V saved my wedding dress and my confidence. I had an awful experience elsewhere but V scooped me up and quite simply fixed everything. She was upfront and transparent whilst also bringing all the positive vibes. She is an expert at her craft. I don’t think I could have found anyone better. The whole experience was perfect. I had contacted V on hitched and was very glad I did. She’s a wonderful lady who is passionate about her work 🥰. With less than a month before wedding (yikes), she helped me adjust some things on my dress that I was not happy with from the original vendor. She adjusted the bodice side seems and shoulder straps to fit me better which meant I had room to eat and the embellishments weren’t digging into my armpits. She also changed the dress padding to a a colour that wasn’t so obvious (see photos). Very small details but they mattered to me 😅 She changed some other parts too that helped make the dress more comfortable and easier to manage on the day.

V saved my wedding dress!
I bought my wedding dress in a closing down sale whilst 2 months postpartum. So, not only did I buy a dress far too big for me as it was the only size left at the sale, I was also newly postpartum and knew I was intending to lose weight. But… I loved the dress!
I lost the weight I wanted and felt good in myself. I was ready for the alterations to begin but the seamstresses told me they couldn’t do the job as the dress required fully taking apart and re-sewing, rather than the usual nipping at the sides and length. This was due to drastic change of size needed. One seamstress even told me I should put weight back ON to FIT THE DRESS. This knocked my confidence, was in a panic and considered buying a new dress.
I contacted V and told her my dilemma. In so many words, this was not an issue for V and her team as she had the knowledge, skill and experience to complete the job.
As expected, V and her team made my dress fit me perfectly. You wouldn’t ever have guessed it was taken completely apart including each individual appliqué!
Thank you for saving the day, I would highly recommend. V is not a seamstress; but an extremely talented designer!

We honestly cannot thank Vz Perfection enough! She worked absolute magic on all of our outfits for the wedding. She altered all of the bridesmaids’ dresses, shortening the front while leaving the back long, which gave them such a beautiful, elegant flow. She did the same for my wedding dress, adding the most stunning black lace detail that perfectly matched my style and vision – it felt so unique and truly mine.

She also altered the groom’s outfit to fit him perfectly, and the result was incredible. Everything looked amazing and fitted like a dream.

Beyond her amazing talent, she was so welcoming and kind, making us feel relaxed and special throughout the whole process. The personal touch she put into everything meant the world to us. Her prices are so reasonable too, and honestly worth every single penny for the quality and care she puts into her work.

Beautiful outfit for my daughters wedding

V created my daughters dream fusion wedding dress. V listened to my daughters wish, asked questions and made suggestions and came up with a beautiful design. All material was sourced so it met my daughters approval.

V did many fittings until it fit like a glove.

I wasn't going to be left out and v created a beautiful outfit from a brand new sari I had never worn.

A lot of hard work and thought went into creating both outfits and it was much appreciated by the family

I have bought several lovely and useful garments from her but the jewel in my wardrobe is her gorgeous grey silk jacket with hand sewn sequin dragonflies on the back and unique lining which she created for her London Fashion Week show. V is a very talented and friendly lady who has recently completed alterations to my wedding dress. When I was looking for a seamstress, it was important to me to find someone who had experience with wedding dresses. I had an initial telephone conversation with V to discuss my requirements and then V came to my house to see the dress. V was very thorough with an excellent attention to detail, even making suggestions to improve the dress to compliment my figure. I liked how V explained step by step the alterations, for example even taking the hem up. V explained how all the intricate lace detail on my dress would need to be carefully removed and reapplied. I am pleased V took the time to explain these things for my own understanding and V was happy to answer any questions. I like how friendly V is and totally puts you at ease. I was over the moon with the end result, it honestly looks like a different dress from the one I purchased. I shall be returning to V with my bridesmaid dresses.

My mother became disheartened and worried as she wanted something special as Mother of the Bride but despite going around all the high street stores and high end department stores she couldn’t find anything suitable eg., the style, material or colour.
